Transformers - Tempus Exitium
Megatron's second in command
Starscream is the treacherous Decepticon Air Commander and the deadliest of the Seekers. The self-proclaimed pride of the Cybertron War Academy, he’s famous not only for his incredible skill, but also for his limitless (and troublesome) ambition. Starscream believes that he is more suited for command than Decepticon leader Megatron. Thankfully for Megatron, Starscream’s mutinous, power-grabbing plots are almost always transparent, and he can never muster up enough patience to complete a grandiose power play. Even on the few times he has taken control of the Decepticons, he quickly loses control of a situation, but is too arrogant to realize when he’s in over his head. He never learns from his mistakes, but then again, Megatron doesn’t either, seeing as how he’s never turned Starscream into slag. Despite his constant failures, Starscream believes it is only a matter of time before he prevails—his destiny is inevitable.
Starscream’s never give up attitude extends even to the afterlife: unlike most Transformers, he has a mutant, indestructible Spark. His life-force cannot be destroyed and can persist even without a body to contain it. However, there is no indication that Starscream (or anybody else) was aware of this fact prior to his destruction.
? BCE (Before the Great War)
Megatron Origin 3 – Starscream and the other Seekers are introduced to Megatron by Soundwave. Starscream falls to his knees and pledges his undyign allegiance and that it would be an honor to fight besides him in the Arena. Megatron says they would be fighting in the Arena, but that he has a better job for them. He then orders Hook to modify the three Seekers.
A while later, after Thundercracker and Skywarp did their job in killing several of senator Decimus’ guards, Starscream flies in to finish the job, and kidnap the senator.
After Megatron gave his speech to the gladiators he assembled, the Autobots attacked and imprisoned as many gladiators as possible. They were all moved to the Kaon Autobot Security HQ where Starscream shared a cell with Megatron and others. Megatron whispered to him, and Starscream told a guard that he had valuable information, after which Megatron deemed him a traitor, and the others in the cell advanced on him. Starscream was quickly released by the guards and, as per his request, taken to see the senate.
Megatron Origin 4 – Starscream is brought before the senate, and hears a list of his crimes. After the senate declares that Starscream holds them in contempt and asks the guards to remove him, Starscream transforms his well-known guns out of his arms and together with Soundwave kills the entire senate. Soundwave then orders him to continue with the plan, which Starscream resents. Starscream transforms and flies back to the Kaon Autobot Security HQ and blows a hole in the prison. After freeing Megatron, he is ordered to release all prisoners.
When Soundwave and his troops start giving all the freed prisoners weapons, Starscream remarks that Megatron always leads with his right, and gives him his famous Fusion Cannon. Megatron blows a whole in the outer wall, and orders his Decepticons to attack and burn Kaon.
During the battle that follows, Starscream flies away with Trailbreaker hanging on his leg. After kicking him off, he watches the Autobot fall to his death.
Starscream is also a witness to Megatron killing Sentinel Prime during the fall of Kaon.
