Blurr is positively and incontrovertibly without possibility of any doubt the fastest-thinking, fastest-talking and fastest-driving data courier and messenger from the planet of Cybertron, and if you or your friend or anybody else you know or anybody else you might not know or in fact anybody at all wants to send any kind of message or dispatch or parcel or data or in fact anything at all to any base or station or out-of-the-way depot, barracks, headquarters, outpost, or post office and it is absolutely essential to deliver it immediately or at the earliest opportunity and without any delay of any kind regardless of Decepticons or obstacles or foul weather or gloom of night then Blurr’s the one to pick, sir, so just give him the good word and the item in question and Blurr is off like a Cybertronic race horse, if there were such a thing as a Cybertronic race horse, and if such a beast was able to break the sound barrier on land and leave only dust clouds and lingering after-images, because Blurr leaves only dust clouds and lingering after images, but he’ll be off that quickly with your message in hand, and if any hostile power or enemy or Decepticon ambush should get in the way then he’ll hit them with a blast from his electro-laser which will reverse the polarity of their microcircuits and they’ll be stopped. Dead.

Blurr IS the news.

Spotlight: Blurr – Blurr is the most famous races on Cybertron, winning all known championships, and being adored by millions of fans. Blurr himself has a giant ego, and doesn’t even remember the names of those that work with him like Parton Piston. He celebrates his victories in a club called The Circle. His last celebration is with Fasttrack, a fellow races, that, together with Blurr, seems to be in the top of the racing business.
Blurr and Fasttrack return to the race tracks next morning, only to hear that the races have been shut down on order of Zeta Prime because of the possibility of a terrorist threat agains the public. Annoyed, Blurr walks back to his garage and encounters Piston, who tells him that there’s a war out there, and that he took the side of the Autobots. Blurr doesn’t care that the races are over, and is sure they’ll return, and tells Piston that the parties will never end. He goes back to The Circle, only to find out there’s nobody there. No fans, no public, just a bartender who tells him, again, that there’s a war going on.
Blurr sits down alone, and is musing about the simultronic machine, when Starscream enters the scene. He tries to talk Blurr into joining the Decepticons, claiming that Blurr knows everything about power. Blurr drives away from The Circle, and is saved by Ironhide when the racer drives straight into a crossfire between Autobots and Decepticons. Taking cover, Blurr sees the corpses of both Piston and Fasttrack, and reality seems to finally kick in. A simple soldier called Optimus tells Blurr that he has need of him, but Kup says he’s just another stuck-up, arrogant little upstart. Blurr gets angry, but Optimus manages to explain the situation to him. The Decepticons they fought were a team of assassins that were going to kill Zeta Prime, and that the Autobots needed someone fast enough to warn him. Blurr finally picked a side, and raced towards Zeta Prime, straight through the Decepticon assassination squad.
